Question for the room, how did everyone find out about Resyn? What are you most excited about with it?
I discovered this community through Facebook, and I’m really glad to be here! I’m retired now and fully dedicating my time to becoming the best guitar player and musician I can be. I love connecting with like-minded people, sharing ideas, and learning new things along the way. Excited to grow with everyone here, let’s do this! ![]()
Awesome! Welcome to the Resyn community! What kind of guitar are you playing these days? What type of music?
What is one piece of gear that you would put at the top of your wishlist right now?
Paul Reed Smith Custom 24, USA model. Can’t remember the name of the color, but it was a shade of green. Thanks
Siiiick! Are you talking about the Eriza Verde or the Turquoise?
Glad to be here & thank you for the warm welcome! I’m an older player who’s been lucky enough to pick up quite a few guitars over the years. My main go-to is a 2008 Highway One Tele, super versatile and fits just about any style I throw at it. I also rotate between a 2006 PRS McCarty, a ’94 Strat Plus, an ES-335, and a 2005 SG.
On the acoustic side, I really love my Hummingbird Studio for rhythm work and a 2001 Martin 000-C for just about everything else.
There are more axes in the herd, but those are the ones that see the most action.
I’ve also got a late-’70s Gibson Goldtop Deluxe that I bought as a teenager, still a beauty, but I definitely feel the weight these days, lol.
Currently playing in three local bands: R&B, Tex-Mex, and a Classic Rock/metal-leaning group. Looking forward to hanging out and talking gear with you all!
That’s an awesome collection! Also, if you ever want to share some of those bands you’re playing in we have a Tune Share thread to show your music to the community!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. And that Tune Share thread sounds awesome, I’ll definitely check it out and share some of the projects I’m involved in. Always fun to hear what everyone else is working on too!
What’s on everybody’s “Spotify” and “Apple” Wrapped lists?
